"The Trial to Assess Chelation Therapy (TACT) has provided statistically significant evidence that intravenous EDTA chelation therapy is effective for reducing future cardiac events in post-MI patients who are already on 'evidence-based' cardiac therapy." - Study sponsored and collaborated by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) and the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM)

The goals of intravenous therapy are:
- To deliver the nutrients directly into the bloodstream
- To deliver the nutrients to the tissues in optimal proportions for maximum effects
- To reduce the need for any dosage of drugs in various stages of patient care
- To protect tissues from injury caused by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, anesthesia, surgery, and other forms of trauma
- To provide an extra boost to the metabolism at the onset of an illness
Please note: None of these IV therapies are covered under any insurance plans and can range in price.
